Luc is a seasoned veteran of the ski resort industry and a co-founder of Flow Performance Club. He is driven by the pleasure that he brings to everyone he interacts with by striving to inspire the best guest experiences possible, every day !
Like most young Canadian’s, Luc played hockey at an early age. Then he discovered skiing and quickly switched after falling in love with the sport. Soon he joined an alpine racing club and competed for several years before beginning coaching at the age of 17. His love for the sport led him to become a certified instructor with the CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) and he began teaching skiing at all levels.
“I just couldn’t be on the mountain enough” Luc shares. “Skiing and the mountain vibe became my life. Being one with the mountain and respecting the forces it provides is key to enter the Flow state, I want to share this passion with our international members and help them experience that same connection and reach new heights.”
Luc’s career journey took him from full-time ski instructor to CSIA Course Conductor, certifying Canadians to become instructors. Over the years, he has held roles as Ski School and Marketing Director, General Manager, and now Vice President of a resort. “My curiosity for this industry was my inspiration to learn all facets of this wonderful life on the mountain.”
Flow Performance Club reflects this commitment to a new, holistic approach that goes beyond conventional ski schools, bringing together passionate skiers from various business backgrounds who share a love for the mountain lifestyle. “Our team of coaches are all highly certified carrying many years of experience.”
Throughout his career, Luc has mentored countless individuals in skiing and resort management, sharing his knowledge and helping others build fulfilling careers in the ski industry. “I truly enjoy helping people succeed—it is incredibly rewarding,” he says. Flow Performance Club is the culmination of Luc’s vision to fill the gaps in traditional ski coaching for skiers who seek more than just technique. “Embarking on this journey brings everything together that is missing in our sport, we can’t wait to share our holistic approach with you!”
When not on the mountain, Luc and his wife Wendy, a Snow School Director, split their time between Canada and Naples, Florida. They’re also avid mountain bikers, golfers, and tennis players, and they’re excited to adapt their schedule to include Andermatt as a home base.
