Dr. Fogarty is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine specialist, and board-eligible Sports Medicine physician. She is a graduate of Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, and Washington University in Saint Louis for post-graduate medical training. She is passionate about advancing the field of interventional pain and musculoskeletal medicine through research and innovation and has developed and authored many peer-reviewed publications in this space.
Dr. Fogarty brings a unique blend of elite athletic experience and medical expertise to Flow Performance Club. A former FIS racer who competed at the NorAm level, her ski racing career was marked by dedication, leadership, and high performance, including serving as captain (and eventually coach) of the Bowdoin College ski team in the USCSA. She also led Bowdoin’s cycling team, showcasing her versatility as an athlete.
After knee injuries ended her competitive racing career, Alexandra shifted her focus to coaching and medicine, becoming an CSCF coach while pursuing her passion for helping athletes excel. As a respected physician, her medical practice has been dedicated to optimizing sports and exercise participation, even when facing injury or pain.
Alexandra’s deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of skiing, combined with her expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, allows her to offer invaluable insights to athletes striving for excellence. At Flow Performance Club, she combines her coaching and medical background to support skiers in achieving their goals while prioritizing their long-term health and well-being.
